Can someone give me the short answer?

Mille Miglia HT3's 8X17 ET45 Will these fit my 95 A6Q? They are 5X112 bolt pattern.

What offset?

go to a website that sells them - you can look up if they are made for your model car.

Are you sure they are ET45? Tirerack.com lists 17x8 ET35 for your car

Mille Miglia website says they will fit the A6 but don't specify they year, which size or whether there are different offsets. The guy selling them says they are ET45

offset should be stamped on the inside of the wheel

Have him verify the offset and check with Gary @ Tire Rack if they actually are ET45. ET45 might put you too close to suspension bits. You could add 10mm spacers to make them ET35, if the wheels are a really good deal.
