Goodyear F1 GS-D3 in WR or YR for a daily driver or B6 Avant ?

Goodyear F1 GS-D3 in WR or YR for a daily driver or B6 Avant ?
Looking for the Goodyear F1's on my wifes daily driver.
Current tires are crappy stockers 235/45/17, should I go for the same size again on these rims ?
Also which speed rating should I go for WR or YR...$6 bucks difference per tire. This car will not be seeing a track day or too extreme of driving.

I wouldn't go any wider than stock (235) because the OEM rims are only 7.5 wide.
As for speed ratings, theoretically, a higher speed-rated tire might have slightly stiffer carcas/sidewall, which will improve steering response, but honestly, I doubt you'll notice it during regular street driving, if at all.
