man i cannot decide on a tire for my sport suspension b6

i'm still thinking about:

michelin exalto A/S
pzero nero M+S
potenza g 009

i have contiextremecontacts on right now. the response is great, kind of loud, but i wouldn't mind something with a slightly softer ride. i could go with something that is about the same, but i definitely don't want anything with a harder ride...

All excellent choices. I would personally go with the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S, it has been getting awesome reviews and feedback.

the price on pzero M+S is good, but i question (more)

whether or not it will be too hard of a ride for me.

i know that the exaltos will be a softer ride with the expensive of dry traction, but who knows, it might be *too* soft for me.

i hate buying tires. it always feels like a shot in the dark to me.

Yeah Michelin's have always had a tendency to be soft. You might also want to look into the Toyo Proxes 4, i find this to be right in the middle for stiffness.

I have P-Zero Nero M&S 255x35x20's on a lowered A8...

...and find the ride quite comfortable, particularly in the "automatic" setting. Not at all harsh or noisy at 22K miles, and that's with a pretty low profile. Aside from that I find them to be very, very precise handling tires, nearly comparable to the Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires I had on my 740i.
