Will 235/45/17 pose a rubbing issue on stock B5 S4 17" Avus's?
Currently I am at stock suspension. However I plan on going to coilovers in the near future. Am I fine with 235/45/17 or should I just stick with the "smaller" 225/45/17.
Thoughts/Experiences?
Thanks!!
Every tire I tried clears the suspension components, to a different degree. The Yoko AVS-100 had only about 1 mm of clearance, but it rubs on the fender liners.
Bridgestone RE950 fits just fine.
I believe I had the Kumho exsta supra 712 on for a day, they fit (but did not like them).
I recommend you take these data points to the detailed specs of the tires on tirerack, and if your desired tire is closer to the size of the Bridgestone than the Yoko, you will be fine with it.
