Time to replace the Goodyear F1GSD3's...enjoyed them, but is there an equivalent/better tire for...
less money? I was looking at the General Exclaim UHP, Kuhmo Ecsta SPT and the BF Goodrich g-force T/A KDW2 in 235/35/19. I'm probably going to reorder the Goodyears unless someone tells me one of these other tires perform and wear as well or better. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting.. My T1-S are lasting quite a while, and are still pretty quiet.
I even have two track days on them.
I have read many complaints about the T1-S being too noisy, which has been addressed in the T1-R design.
Maybe your alignment was/is off so they wore faster?

By the place I bought the tires from that the KDWs were very comparable to the Goodyears. And even *slightly* out performed the Goodyears. And since they were cheaper I went with them. Got them on my TT...I like them. Never had the Goodyears though so I don't know what they are like...

All three of those choices would be a step down in wet and dry grip from the GSD3, but are less expensive. Each is near the top in value in its respective price range. If you were to list the tires in order of lowest performance and lowest price to highest performance and highest price, you have them in that order in your post : General, Kumho, then BFG.
