2 PS2's with Bubbles in the sidewall. How could this happen?!

2 PS2's with Bubbles in the sidewall. How could this happen?!
I have a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2's on my car. A few weeks ago, I noticied a bubble in the rear right tire sidewall. Today I bend down and notice that my front right tire as well has a bubble in the sidewall.
I really think I have a defective set of tires as how could two tires have bubbles in the sidewall? They have always inflated them to the proper PSI, and only have about 4,000 to 5,000 miles on them. Never hit a pot hole so I don't know whats causing it... Wheels are in perfect condition, no bends.. Rear: 255/35/18, Front 225/45/18

99% (really) of bubbles are from impact damage. Whether or not you remember doing so, you likely hit something just hard enough to tear the inner liner of the tire sidewall, which causes air to make its way into the plys of the tire.
