Anyone ever run 225/45ZR17 on a 97 A6 Avant?
I just got a 97 A6 Avant that has some "slicks" for tires. I have a set of OZ wheels with Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires on them from my old 200 20v. The original tires were P205/55R16 Bridgestone Potenza's. I have mounted the wheels and tires to the car and they are close to the upper control arm, but not touching. I took it out and ran the car hard, lifted it and there were no cut marks in the tires. Just wondering if anyone has done this before. It would build my confidence a little. Thanks!
