Just found out a new fitment... 16" fit on 2002 A6 2.7T
I always assumed it wouldnt work , but had no choice last night.
Turns out my 2001 A4 tqms sport wheels (looks like B5 RS4 wheels but in 16") fit perfectly on my sister's 2002 A6 2.7T. I always thought the
bigger brakes wouldnt clear 16" rims, but it does just fine. I guess for whatever reason anyone might need 16" rims on an A6 2.7T (snow tires maybe), they fit. Not a bad idea for an alloy spare tire either, instead of a donut.
Turns out some of the '02 A6 2.7T had different front calipers (not the S4 style w/ 4 pads/caliper).
I tried them on, because her 18" ABT rims had a tire that was damaged. I had the 16"s laying in the garage for a while, so I tried them on.
