What are the allowable limits of rim ET (offset) for the Audi A3?

What are the allowable limits of rim ET (offset) for the Audi A3?
I believe my stock OEM rims are ET45. In considering other rims that are listed for the A3, I see ET35, ET42, ET56... Are the allowable ET limits for Audi models made available anywhere?

There isn't really a good answer to this since the range of offsets can vary by wheel width, spoke pattern (for brake clearances) and even by tire size and 'personal opinion' of what is an acceptable appearnce on a car. Generally speaking OE wheels tend to be a bit more conservative with higher offset figures.
