I'm thinking about dumping my brand new tires
I just got a Q7 which came with Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires. While doing some research on how these (20") tires would be in the snow, I came across the Tire Rack ratings that said, basically, that these tires suck. What worries me is that the tires seem to do a poor job of braking and handling in all conditions. This concerns me, since I'd like to have the maximum amount of control possible as I bomb around in my 5,500 lb vehicle.
So now I'm wondering if I might be better (safer, more comfortable) if I dumped these tires and bet a good set of rubber.
What do you think?
