Question about offset. The 07-08 RS4 has 19x9 ET29 if I choose a tire that will fit from tire rack
with let say an offset of 35..... even tho it fits over the brakes it will still be in 6mm from stock wheel loocation. Correct?

Yes, the 35mm offset will 'sit' 6mm (about 1/4" so not much) further inboard.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/wheels/index.jsp">wheels</a></li></ul>
