Integrity of repaired wheel?

Integrity of repaired wheel?
I got a pretty big scratch on one of my A6 wheel and I considered replacing it. In the process, I found out about the wheel colision center in PA that seems to be the best in the business of wheel repair on the east coast.
Looking at their website they sell refinished wheel for a fraction of the cost from what a new wheel cost (for instance they sell my wheels for 300 a piece versus 680 for a new one).
I am just concerned that I would be getting a repaired wheel and I do not know what kind of damages were repaired. If that was just scratches no pb but if it was more significant, should I be concerned about integrity of the wheel? I am mostly concerned about safety with my family and all.

PS: It is not very convenient for me to send them my wheel this is why I am looking to buy a new or repaired wheel.
