How much side wall would I have if I wrapped 225/45/17's on OEM B5 S4 rims?

Default How much side wall would I have if I wrapped 225/45/17's on OEM B5 S4 rims?
I'm putting these wheels on my C5 Avant and would like a decent amount of side wall for ride quality and to help prevent bending the rims. Your advice is appreciated.

That's the stock size.

18" Avus wheels are 28lb steel, probably not going to bend them

Default Far as I know, all S4s were running 17" until the B6 V8 4.2, which went to 18"
I'm running the B6 S4 rims, which were originally on my C5 A6, and I liked them so much that I put them on my C6 A6.

Shouldn't you be using 235/45/17 on your C5?
