Gary - All season tire recommendation?
I have a 2006 A4 with 18" s-line wheels and summer tires - Dunlop Sport Maxx (car came from CA). I live in the Seattle area so wou]ld like to switch to a tire more suitable to the conditions here, namely a lot of wet weather driving. We get the occasional snow and ice as well but not a lot. My priorities for the tires, in order are:
1) wet weather performance
2) road noise
3) price
4) snow/ice performance
Based on past experience with the brand, I am considering the BFG g-Force Super Sport A/S. There seem to be a few other options at similar price points, so wondering which you would recommend and why, or others not listed.
1) BFG g-Force Super Sport A/S
2) Yokohama Avid W4S
3) Continental ContiExtremeContact
4) Goodyear Eagle F1 AS (for a bit more money)

Gievn your priorities, I'd look at the Yokohama W4S as this would be the more quiet tire of the pack along with strong wet weather traction. If you were willing to pick up a bit more road noise to get better handling and grip, I'd check out the F1 A/S.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>
