Nd new tires for 17" X 8.5" SSR Comps. Looking at HTRZIII. Should I go with 225 or 235 width?

Clearnce is pretty tight on the B5, especially when lowered. I'd try the 225/45R17 for teh first set. Check clearances carefully and if there is room, up the sizing to 235/45R17 for the next replacement set.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>
