Are my 6 year old R-Compounds still good?
I have a set of Kumho Ecsta V700's that I got in 2002 that have 1 track day on them. They've been stored in a garage since then subject to temperatures ranging from 50-100 degrees.
Assuming that there is enough tread left, are these safe to use on a track?

I'd still try them out non-competitively, just take your time with them to feel out any loss of grip. Given that they've been stored pretty well and have only one track day on them you may be suprised at how good they still are.
