Either get the cheapest, most expensive, or something inbetween.

Blizzak WS-50s are on serious closeout. Search a few sizes and be flexible, pun intended.

Dunlop, either M3 or 3D or Nokian Hakkapeliitta or WR G2. Check 'em out.

I'm currently using Bridgestone LM25s on my Avus wheels.

I have no complaints, but then it hasn't really snowed for the past few years, where I live.

I had the michelins. While Michelin makes great, round, quality tires, i thought these were very soft and handled poorly compared to the Vreedsteins or the Dunlops.

I've not had the Wrs but hear they are terrific, if you don't need a hard-core snow tire.
