Does anyone have a good "narrow" 245-35-19 tire recommendation?
I have a 2004 S4, H&R Coilovers set to a height of 25.5 all the way around, and am looking for tires for my 19x8.5 ET35 BBS CH wheels.
I was all set to pick up a set of Bridgestone RE050 Pole Positions in 245-35-19, but received quite a bit of feed back that these will rub like crazy, even with the 12 O'clock fender liner screw removed.
I suppose I could just go with a set of 235-35-19s, but was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions on a set of 245-35-19s that are a little narrower than the RE050s?
I'm looking for a strictly summer-only tire, and one that isn't too noisy. Due to my work travel schedule, I also don't ever track the car. Thoughts?
