I've been searching the fourms for a week and found lots of valuable info. Your posts have been very helpful, even found the 2004 post with the link to the 1010tires.com offset calculator.
I am updating my 2000 A6 with new wheels, suspension, exhaust and likely doors sills and/or spoiler. I've decided to go with the DTM nine spoke; either the 17" from Hartman one of the several 18's for sale on Audizine.
Could you answer a couple of questions? Why did you change from 18" DTM's to 17's? Did the spacers cause any issues? What suspension did you run on the 18's and which one would you recommend now? Were there significant differences in handling and ride comfort?
Input from others with experience is welcome. I seem to be like a lot of folks making an upgrade. Looking for aggressive look, better handling, some but not a total sacrifice in ride comfort.
