Finally ordered winter tires

It has taken me a few years to actually get around to buying winter tires, but I finally did it today. Gary at TireRack was helpful in ordering the wheels even though I was not buying the tires from TireRack. It'll probably be a few weeks before the Nokian Hakka 5's show up as I had to special order the studless version. I can hardly wait until I get to drive in winter conditions with these tires. I hope they are worth it.

what size rims/tires are you going to run?

16" rims with 215/55R16 tires

TireRack shows 16" rims working with my car and it is my understanding that higher profile tires are better for winter.

I've pestered Gary with questions for a few years without ever buying anything from them. I did and am so far impressed. The order was placed Friday and the wheels showed up this morning. I haven't opened the boxes yet, but the delivery time is great. Now I have to wait for the tires to show up at the local distributor.
