Currently running 225/40/18, Wheel is 18x8.5, ET32...

What other tire sizes can I run to get more rim protection? My tires are "small or skinny" for the wheels (Firestone Wide Oval). Thoughts? TIA.

I just put on 235's for the same reason.

Since I have not brushed a curb yet, I can't say if it helps. Was running 225's.
