Question for Gary@Tirerack
Hi Gary -
I have a 08 S5, and recently switched out the stock tires - Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT for the winter wheels. I'm debating with myself how to re-install them in the spring. Nothing I can see on the sidewall indicates that they're directional (are they?), so I'm wondering if I will do any damage by crossing them over? Or, should I just rotate front to rear on the basis that the tire may have "seated" itself in a certain direction, and may scallop if it rolls in the opposite.
Your advice would be appreciated.

That's an asymmetric tire. So it's designed to roll either direction, but same side must be outside.
On the sidewall of the tire, it says "OUTSIDE". So you can cross-rotate them if desired, but they cannot be dismounted and re-mounted in reverse on the wheel itself.
