It was a very sad day at our house....glad Michael won...and hope he wins
the remaining races. Nothing like being pushed out by the head of Ferrari....and all what Michael did to make Ferrari a winning team again..so the next question is....what happens to Ross Braun...and Jon Todd? Maybe Kimi can take a speech class this winter so he will have a little more "personality" when he wins...lol WE WILL MISS MICHAEL.........

A very sad day for the motorsport community......but somehow I don't think it's permanent..
Many came back from "retirement", Hakkinen, Villeneuve, Lauda - twice, if you run a 100 octane in your blood then it's difficult to retreat from any challenge.

Yeah I got real emotional at the end...
I like Kimi as a racer, but not so much as a person.
As for Schumacher, this season has been way too frustrating in terms of the FIA's meddling, so I see the results as semi-fixed. I root for Schumacher over Alonso even if I am not a big fan of either, but I'd rather Schumi won an 8th on his own merit rather than having it handed to him by the FIA.

I think it's time. He's still got the talent, but he's been making more mistakes>
then he ever used to.
Take the Hungary race where Alonso was out, and Shumi kept out there on wets when everyone was on dry tires and he battled De La Rosa, then eventually banged wheels with Heidfeld when he should have conceded those positions to take home some points instead of none.
That made me wonder if he's starting to lose his cool under pressure which he never seemed to do in the past.
He still is one of the greatest racing drivers of all time, if not THE best, but he can't drive forever, this day had to come.
