Random thought - is there any logic behind numbering turns (a) and (b) instead of giving them new
In another instance though, I feel like at VIR they have a 12 and 12a because they didn't want a turn 13 at the track, though that might not be their reasoning at all.
I believe it has something more to do with the "distance" between corners, if there is a logical straight or some differentiating feature between the corners.
Kind of fits along with what D all over was saying. Though I'm not sure about spooky wooky nature of the VIR thing.
I'm assuming like 3a and b at Pacific, there really isn't anything substantial between them though I don't get how they come across 4, 5a and b then...*shrugs*
But then again I can't get how they call 1 a corner there either...so *shrugs*
