Veryy scary crash, especially before I saw that the car hit backwards! She hit the best way she
could have, or close enough to it, but it's never fun to know you're going to hit really really hard and you can do nothing but wait for it. Great to see her unharmed after that.

Looked a lot like the Gregg Moore fatal at Fontana a few years back. She is very lucky:
and must be in very good physical shape to come out of that the way she did. Apparently she never lost consciousness either, remembers all the parts flying off and the dirt coming into the cockpit.

I was watching it w/ my girlfreind, introducing her to open wheel racing...
All she's ever seen is NASCAR, so I tried to show her the "other side".
I also grabbed her interest by showing her that "girls" can race too, unfortunatley she saw Katherine's crash, it definatley put a damper on her enthusiasim!
