So what ever happened to the R10 at the end of the race? Why couldn't they fix the front suspension? The bodywork looked fine, so I didn't think there was any sort of collision.

I was watching at a bar and not paying comlete attention, but as far as I can tell...
there wasn't a specific incident that broke the suspension, it just failed.
On a related note, what caused the Guy Smith crash in the esses, suspension failure, tire, or was there oil down?

the audi had an incident with a Panoz after the last yellow flag....
it busted the control arm. The should have replaced the whole front piece, which would take around 3 min. They made a bad decision and the Doctor was pissed too.
