Digital camera suggestions for car AND handheld dual use?
I'm thinking a digital camera would be a good wedding gift for the bride to be to give to me. She's looking for ideas, but it's not as easy as "jewelry" when picking something out for guys.
The linked system below seems perfect for recording track footage, but I don't think it'll be very useful at parties, fishing, skiing, or filming baby stuff in a few years. However I LOVE the bullet cam option with that setup.
What are you using at the track, and what would you suggest as useful features for a dual-use camera. I'd like it to record in some mainstream format; not the funky MPEG4 or similar. I'd like the option of using a bullet cam at a later date, but for now I suppose I'll mount it between the headrests with some sort of bracket.
I'm trying to keep it under a $600 budget too, but can contribute funds myself if necessary. Thoughts?<ul><li><a href="http://www.chasecam.com/">PDR100</a></li></ul>
