Default Speed World Challenge.

I like it because of the close racing and the fact that any of 15 drivers out of 30 or so can win. I actually like how SCCA keeps the cars equal with adjustments throughout the year. The marque vs. marque competition creates buzz in the forums and I'm sure it helps to sell cars which is pretty much the intended purpose of racing anyway. I also like the fact that a club racer such as myself could theoretically make the jump to WC but I know that would require bumping off a rich uncle.

Runner up would be ALMS...always some crazy, masterful passes because speed differential with 4 classes of cars sharing the track.

Default pro series: speed world challenge touring car

it usually has some good close racing!

other US series i like are speed WC-GT, alms, and rolex/GAC (although i tire of seeing the wreck-fests at most GAC races)

amatuer: bmwcca and nasa gts challenge, because thats what i race in, lol

Default Star Mazda....uhhhhhh....

that's about it heh. I like the cars in ALMS but two teams don't make an interesting race to me.

Appeal is that it's young talented drivers racing equal cars to try and carve out a career. Though it gets annoying that they seem to be only able to get a handfull of green flag laps, it's still fun to watch.

There's a LOT of dirt-car/oval racing in the US and IMHO that's where the majority of pro racing is in the US. Being a road racer, it's easy to forget those guys but every time I'm in a race shop sharing space with some Midget or Sprint car...their preparation and finish is amazing.

I like the off-season with V8 supercar coverage...that is an awesome series to watch and they have some crazy tracks.

I hate the contrived SCCA pro classes...I'd rather see a fully spec car OR classes that reflect the actual capabilities of cars rather than artificially limiting them.

Default Rolex series for me

The DP cars are kinda ugly but the racing is good, with lots of passing, and the cars have serious V-8 power and the speed that goes with it.

SWC Touring is fun to watch too - lots of great on track dicing - but it's just not quite as exciting watching boxy 4-bangers race around a lot slower.

Grand Am (Rolex). Tons of entrants, close lap times, colorful driver personalities.

Default ALMS.

The cars, the drivers, the mixed classes... even though it's not really competitive at this point in P1 [I do like watching Audi stomp on the competition].

Default Actually, NASCAR is all my family watches, son and wife included

They've even started watching the occasional NASCAR Busch Series race!

My son was Tony Stewart for Halloween. Practically no one here in Massachusetts recognized that he was wearing a racing suit. Most called him "Home Depot Guy" and I think they just figured he was dressing up like an overzealous Home Depot worker.

I need to consider moving to North Carolina.
