Were those the RT-615 (street tire)?
I've been playing with the idea of picking up a set of those to replace my Hankook Z212 RS2's that I wore out at my last track event in October. The Hankooks chunked a ton, but I beat the crap out of them during one late session trying to chase down a 993TT.
I've heard that the 615 is a good autox tire, but that it gets hot and greasy after some lapping at speed. Can you confirm or deny any of this heresay?
I need another season on street tires, and am looking at 3 moderately priced sticky tires (found below in the link). Any comments would be great.<ul><li><a href="http://www.edgeracing.com/tires/2354017/">Looking at the Z212, RT-516 and T-1R</a></li></ul>
