At the moment I believe there literally is no competition. Last time I checked, there were no
priveteers confirmed as entrants for the 07 season in LMP1. The Dyson Lolas are for sale, and hopefully they will stay on this side of the pond. I have also heard talk of Creation and/or Zytek running here full time next year, but nothing has been confirmed, to my knowledge. If either of those are on form, then I could see them giving a solid race at quite a few tracks. Both teams had cars at Laguna that I believe could have won that day.
On the bright side, P2 is looking like it will have a great year and maybe upwards of a dozen entries!
