STaSIS Motorsports Signs Daytona 24 Hour Champion for 2007 SPEED World Challenge Touring Car

Sonoma, California (December 28, 2006) STaSIS Motorsports is very excited to announce the addition of Ian Baas to our driver line up for the 2007 SPEED World Challenge Tour Car Series. Ian has just completed a very successful year racing in Carrera Cup and Porsche SuperCup to join STaSIS Motorsports in World Challenge. Team owner Paul Lambert commented," Ian has built a very impressive career in Motor Sports in a very brief time, most notably winning the prestigious 24 hours of Daytona piloting a Porsche in 2006. He is a perfect fit for our team and goal of a Manufacturers and Drivers Championship in 2007"

Ian recently spent the day testing the STaSIS Motorsports Audi A4 at Infineon Raceway. "The car feels really good and I know with more time testing we can consistently challenge for the podium. The team has been great to work with and I cannot wait for the season to start" said Ian.
