Grand Am Cup ..... A4 ??
Last year there was an Audi running in Grand Am cup, I believe that the car number was 05. And had Stasis listed as a sponsor...was this a Stasis car ?
Looking at the Grand Am rules, it seems that the forced induction cars usually maintain there stock intake ,exhast and the such. Would the A4, similar to the Stasis cars in World Challenge , be competitive in stock trim ??

Wasnt a StaSIS car...
The owner of Intrax Springs use to run a A4 1.8T in Grand Am way back in 98/99..might be his old car. Another guy had one in US touring car for awhile...not sure what happened to that car. If StaSIS did a car in Grand Am..I am sure it would be competitive. :-)

There has been a Audi S4 in GA Motorola Cup in the past (Istook/Aines Motorsport Group). Also last year there was an A4 that claimed "STaSIS sponsorship" but when I asked STaSIS they knew nothing about them.

Possible Grand Am Cup build ???
I thought I have seen pics of this car...but I cant rememeber where. The reason I am trying to research this is because I used to race in Improved Touring and in seeing some of the N.East guys going to GAC, (Davis Motorsport + Bildon Motorsport) , and doing well! I was trying to figure out the competitivness of the A4, in what would be an attempt to build one for GAC.
Plus I was hoping also to to stir up some interest from some "factory" tuners and/or some prospective sponsors for this race effort. Or should I say adventure ??

STaSIS Motorsports has not sponsored any other professional teams. The car in question maybe be running our products though.
Also, STaSIS is not a factory backed effort. The only team in the USA that is would be Audi Sport NA's R10 program. STaSIS builds, runs and maintains our own effort currently.
STaSIS Motorsports could build a competitve Grand AM program if approached with the proper funding.
