Where can I tap into the sunroof wires?

Where can I tap into the sunroof wires?
In an A4 with a sunroof, where could I find the wires that lead to the sunroof switch, other than at the switch itself? I am looking for a location as close to the dash / knee bolsters as possible. Tapping the fuse won't help as it's always powered, I need the actual wire that goes to the switch.<p>Any help is as always very welcome!<br>- Stan<br>

Because the wire is the 2nd most perfect thing in my search for a Power On control wire for my aftermarket radio in my 98.5. You know, the radio turns off with the ignition, not with the ignition KEY. With the sunroof wire I could at least get the 10 minute delay out of it. Same applies for the window lever illumination :-)<p>- Stan<br>

I seem to recall someone on the forum saying that the power at the sunlight switch on an A4 is something different than 12 v? This person was looking at it as a source for their Valentine 1, and came to the conclusion that it was not usable. <p>HTH<p>Gary <br>
