Dog guard for A4 avant
Well I'm over here in the U.K. and I decide to go down to the local dealer and see<br>what it would cost me to get all the pieces for the retractable dog screen. When <br>I get to the dealer there is an Avant there with a metal dog guard in it.<br>So I went to the parts guy and asked him about it. It's an aftermarket part thats<br>made specifically for the A4 avant. It fits in behind the back seat (you have to tilt the<br>seat forward to put it in place). It extends all the way down to the floor and has square<br>metal tubes that form the guard above the back seat. It's finished in silver paint and <br>appears to be well constructed. The price is 110.00 GBP (approx. $187), so it's less<br>then half what the retractable factory screen would cost but, it only works with the back <br>seat in place.<p>So I'm still deciding what I want to do, but if there is any interest I will try to get some<br>more info, like the manufacturer and PN etc. <p>Llyn Allen<br>Systems Engineer<br>OSI - EMEA<br>gla1@osi.com
