Comprehensive Headlight Info...

I'm looking to do the same, but...
It looks like it's tougher than that... these units aren't made for retrofit (the ones on European S4's) and may take some work to get a fit. If you have such a dreamy dealer (something I envy, by the way), see if they can order a LhD S4 lighting assembly for you. My dealer laughs whenever I mention the word upgrade and scratches my car every time I go in for service. Hence, I never go there.<p>Cameron<br>

No idea since Clair wouldn't do it, but...
Make sure you get LhD (Left-hand Drive) lamps or the setup will be incorrect for the harnesses you have. I know that much. Probably want to talk to the people at your dealer if you've had a good experience with your dealer.<p>Still looking for a decent dealer,<br>Cameron<br>

Grim or not, if it were me plunking down any of my hard earned dollars I'd like to know as much about the topic as possible. One can't always take what salesman of any stripe say as gospel. In this particular case, how many people have been burned by buying "blue ion" or other various bulbs based upon claims by the manufacturer or salesman? <p>I've personally considered getting a set of the Euro lights in the past but the cost is a little high right now. It seems that the old addage that you "get what you pay for" may as true as ever.<p>Sean<br>97 1.8Tqm
