Anyone notice that the pricing structure for APR's EMCS is kinda goofy?! (m)
OK, so you get the $499 Chipped Program. To get the stock program as well, it will cost you $149 (which you have just had them erase!!) while the other programs are $70 additional for #3 and #4, and the optional programs are $89!!!
Hmmmmmmmm. Seems kinda gouging...
To get a discount at the BBQ would cost more than the amount saved in lodging, food, gas from where I live... Damn.

The concept of "gouging" is nonsense. The fact that they charge for the stock program...(m)
is based on the fact that they have to add a chip and re-apply anything new added. They cannot put a chipped program on without removing the stock one, and adding ANY program back, inclusing stock, requires more software/omplexity. The fact that they charge more for the first program than the proceeding ones makes perfect sense: it's cheaper to add extra once you set up the structure.
