need help doing fog light mod, the solder on the PC board ain't melting...

am i not doing this right? it's been a while since i've soldered, but i think i'm doing it properly. you put the wire on the pc board next to the part that you want it to stick to and then it'll stick. but it ain't melting and i'm afriad to keep the soldering iron there too long cuz i'm afriad it'll melt the board. help..please

oh yea, how do i cut off the leads? a simple wire cutter isn't working out.

Try...

Melt some solder onto the tip of the Iron, or try to use some flux.

The extra solder on the Tip, will help conduct heat to the solder on the board, this way its alot easier to melt!
