Bypass valve install question???

Hi all!

I feel like a fool here, but can anybody tell me where the stock bypass valve is located on a 98.5 1.8T? I can't seem to find the thing under the hood. (Doh!)

I'm thinking about upgrading and want to get an idea of the install difficulty before I do it. I can do the basics like oil, filters, plugs, brakes, etc., so can I do the install on one of these as well?

Any advice and/or pictures of location would be greatly appreciated!

Here's a pic... Im not sure if this is a 98.5 1.8t engine or not,

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/12247/a4motor_illustrate.jpg"></center><p>But i think that its all fairly similar. To replace the BPV, you have to go in from underneth. There is no way to do it from the top, there is to much junk in the way

Im going to be replacing mine tomarrow, and ill be posting all about it tomarrow night. Hope that this helps.

very easy...

ah, and look for cam man while youre in there...
