StarTac Cell Phone Integration *UPDATE*
Okay guys,
Those of you who emailed about the StarTac kit that is under development, thank you. We have gathered a lot of information, and Ed has had a good look at the electronics (and kits) involved. We have one problem. Ed needs an actual StarTac with which to test. I can't lend him mine because it is my life line as an independent consultant. The nature of my work keeps me on call all the time. I've already put more than $250 into this development, otherwise I'd just buy a phone and send it his way. (They're expensive when you don't want to get into a contract.) If any of you have a StarTac that you wouldn't mind loaning for a couple of days, it would really, really help. If you have any other ideas... (are there places that rent phones?) let me know.

I have an older Analog StarTac...but it doesn't have any service
I suppose I'll probably be pulled into this at some point...ahem cough Ed?

Email me. I just switched out of my Startac 7868
I have a dual Digital/Analog one that is sitting in the closet. I finally dumped it after years (I've had 6 of them) of frustration.
I emailed you about the integration, but seems like I won't need the kit.
I'll be glad to loan it out.
