Help! Need to place order quickly. Have 2 questions:

I recently decided to order the A4 1.8T, and I was told I could still make March production if I place the order within next few days. With AudiWorld's search mechanism down, it's hard to find specific answers. Appreciate your feedback on these items:

1) Bose stereo upgrade -- have there been problems with this? I saw a post in Edmunds.com with a vague mention about problems or disappointments with the Bose system. Haven't received an answer there yet. I was planning on adding Bose, but won't if there's reason to save the $$. Dealer doesn't have an A4 with Bose on the lot to test.

2) Almost all cars on the lot are either blue or silver with ecru/onyx interior. Dealer doesn't have a spare A4 brochure to give me. I'm thinking of ordering white exterior with ecru/blue interior, which I believe is ambiente. Any opinions of the ecru/blue interior? Or is this to be avoided because of too much blue? 2nd choice might be the clay interior.

I love my bose, and i think the blue interior is TOO much blue!

Skip the Bose

Faced the same issue last year with my wife's A4.

This is clearly a personal choice and I don't want to irritate people who are happy with the Bose. The standard stereo is quite reasonable.

I tried very hard to omit the Bose from my TT, but I bought it off the lot and had no choice.

bose option is crap, unless you only listen to acapellas (s?)

it is called ambiente. i have santorin w/ ecru seats, and maritime blue dash and carpet...very nice

i like the interior coloring a lot. about bose, dont have it, but the standard concert stereo isnt bad at all.

Glad to hear you like the ecru seats with maritime blue dash/carpet. The blue interior probably looks good with the dark blue exterior. In your opinion, would the blue dash also look fine with the white exterior?

Thanks. I appreciate your comments. I see you have the ecru/onyx interior. Assuming that I didn't want a black dash/steering wheel (I live in Arizona), would you choose the clay interior instead of the ecru/blue interior as your 2nd choice?
