Default tire rotation question for quattro....and APR stage 3 question

i have not yet rotated the tires on my quattro. should i do front to back, or side to side. or LF to RR, RF to LR? my fronts are kinda low on tread(hard cornering i guess) and i dont want the back end to be lose if i switch front to back. is there anything specific i should do?

for those of you with APR stage 3: have any of u put your car to dyno testing? how much hp/torque are you putting out? any 0-60 or 1/4 mi times?
thanks

Rotate LF to RR etc... if you dont want a squirrely back end, you've got quattro, stay on the gas!

which is more important to take note of? hp at the wheels, or at the flywheel (tranny)?

Default Definitely at the wheels. its interesting to look at different cars.....

HP at the wheels. some cars lose an incredibly high amount of horse power from the crank to the rear wheels, like 25-30% and more, no joke!

Default I have heard that you should not change the direction of rotation when you rotate

(even on non-directional tires). I don't remember the reason why, but it's nothing too dramatic (you won't be sent to hell if you do). Anyway, front to back should do fine.

And if your tires are in bad shape, drive accordingly (meaning, nowhere near the limit). Getting into trouble with a bad set of tires is a prescription for disaster (and quattro is not going to get you out of it!).

If your alignment is correct then it really does not matter how you rotate, as long as you do!
