Interesting discussion on intakes and filters and such...
now I'm curious, what do you think of <a href="http://awe-tuning.com/products/audi/audiparts.cfm?PMaI=1&PMoI=4&PEI=6&PP=s4_27t_drivet rain.cfm&PPT=Drivetrain#Sflo">AWE's S-flo</a> for the S4?
How is this different from turbo5's intake?
Why couldn't the A4 version be similar to this (keeping the stock airbox)?
After all, I've heard that the S-flo has had dyno-proven results. Whether this is true or not I'm not sure but everyone in S4 forum seems to like them for their "performance" in the same way that the A4 1.8T owners in this forum likes the turbo5 intake for the sound.
Is the S-flo a better system than the turbo5 intake and if so, why not make something similar for the A4?
I can understand why the S-flo system had to keep the stock airbox -- the S4's underhood temps are so damn high that no heat shield will do and it NEEDS an airbox.
