Yellow Malfunction Check Light - Open Ventilation Valve?
Hello everyone,
I'm getting a fault which reads "Tank Ventilation Valve Open". I thought maybe my gas cap, but its always on tight. I'll reset the light, but I get the fault again. I have no clue how and where to fix it. Any ideas? Please help.

Answer inside.
A few things can cause this: A loose gas cap or a leaking hose.
My car had this error. I found a loose hose clamp near the Air box. The Evap purge valve is located above the air box. It's a black electric pump with several hose leading to it. If one of those lines is leaking it can cause that code. Those metal spring clamps can come loose. I replaced mine with standard hose clamps. Problem solved.
