What's a good compound to use with Porter Cable Random Orbital buffer?

What's a good compound to use with Porter Cable Random Orbital buffer?

I have some very fine surface scratches from the buttons on my jacket when I was working on the car. I ordered a Porter Cable buffer and am looking for a compound to use. I don't want to use anything too aggressive. Can I use 3m IHG?

If your afraid about the IHG then just get there machine glaze

just don't run the buffer at high speeds. I use the IHG and run the buffer at either the first or second setting. Works great.

3M machine glaze. It's meant for use with orbital buffers

IHG is good, BUT the cutting action is geared for hand use, i.e. MORE cutting action (you can't oscillate like an orbital - I hope). The Machine glaze is finer to compensate for the faster action of the buffer.

Get it at car care specialties too.
