They say the “devil is in the detail”, which means it’s the smallest detail that makes the finished product what it is. It is this nearly insane level of attention to detail that Audi is SO good at that makes their race cars something truly special to behold.

Case in point is the newly released R8 LMS. Looking over the photos, the mix of handmade race parts, combined with a smattering of parts bin items is intoxicating for people like us. These are machines built by hand, by highly skilled craftsmen, finely honed over hours upon hours of testing.
