Lol

OT I almost always have people at the back and seat warmers were on. I never noticed it. I should probably test it out one day.

LOL. That is interesting. I just picked my AR up Thursday morning, and did just the tunnel once to see if it was hot. But I typically use Sync, so I guess I will check this out when my husband sets his own temperature on a long trip.

So where on the tunnel is the hot spot- high or low?

Putting my hand on the plastic left of the cupholders, then down to where it meets the carpet is where I found it. Well, actually I found it with my right leg because I was wearing shorts at the time.

Hmmm, so it could have the effect of keeping one's coffee warm? Does this heating duct run on both sides of the tunnel, or just the driver's side?

I don't know how warm you like your coffee, but I measured about 116 degrees when I checked it, the dealership measured at 122. AFAIK, there's only one duct and it runs on the driver's side. I'd be reluctant to let the plastic heat up constantly/repeatedly, no idea if that could eventually cause it to warp (it's hotter underneath than on the surface).

BTW, congrats on picking up your AR! Now you can change your sign-off. Mine is also a Prestige/Monsoon but with gray interior, and only the WW package. I could try to say I didn't want CW or DA, but I'd be lying. I'm living well enough without them.

That's a lot of heat. I will check mine. I don't drink coffee- I keep an insulated starbucks mug with cold water in it.
