They should launch the avant here. I love station wagons and I wonder why they don't have them here.

I did love the 3.0 engine in my '13 s4 and '16 a6 prestige - but have to say that my last 0-60 run in my '13 s4 on summer tires and a chipwerke ran a 4.334 0-60 time with launch control on my qstarz timer.

my last timed run on summer tires in the '17 allroad with chipwerke and launch control ran 4.358 0-60.

same location, similar climatic conditions. very similar times (an eyeblink apart) - but I got 19.9 mpg with the 3.0 and get 23.9 mpg with the 2.0t.

to each their own - but these are my findings. both engines are great, enjoy.

Allroad sales in the U.S. are running about 180 per month (1,989 thru Nov.). Unfortunately there just isn't a big market for wagons so it's doubtful Audi would bring the Avant here. Everyone wants CUV's these days.

I would think sales will pick up a bit with the new B9 Allroad though.

Wow. That is nice. Same performance from a stock B8 S4 and chipwerked B9 AR. In fact, I did watch some reviews of the new S4 and most of them said it wasn't significantly faster than the A4!!! Because the A4 itself is pretty fast.

Edit - Just realised it was a Chipwerked S4 too!!!!

Very glad you posted these pictures. I ordered my Allroad yesterday in Monsoon Gray full paint over Rock Gray. Solidified my choice. The last four Audi models I have owned have had black interiors and I am welcoming the change.

Hi allroaders,

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a 2018 allroad, and I'm seriously considering the Manhatten and sport pack. I have not been able to find a real-life photo of what that looks like, so if anyone has one, and can post some pics, that would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

I'm in Canada, but it's likely the same. Do you know if there's a way to still get those big wheels?
