Got a new transmitter for my 99 A4 2.8 Quattro 5mt because old transmitter, which came with the car from previous owner, was shown to be inop. Have I valet key along with new transmitter and have tried the shown methods of synching with no effect. Do you HAVE to have 2 transmitters/fobs to program? Can you use 1 fob 1 valet key and if so why isn't it synching? Something else faulty in locking system? Hook a brother up?! Muchas gracias!
