I went through the fuses to the left of the driver seat in the dash, nothing was blown (specifically looked at fuse 37 which is the radio). No power coming through the lead cable, and also no power to my climate control, AND the temperature readout in the instrument panel is now blank.

Hopefully there's a secret fuse or something I'm missing.. otherwise I really franked something.

This is my first post on the forums but I use them extensively for research. I searched for a while and couldn't find an answer. Thanks in advance.
oh do i have the fix for you, ladies and gentlemen i experienced the same problems after jump starting the car, radio went in and out had problems with electrical in the car. went through all the fuses, hush panel everything. took the carpet out, and the drivers seat underneath the floor board in the rear drivers right where your right foot would go is a but splice, factory in fact theres 2 of them. mine was the 2nd one further up. wet carpet too. so there lies your problem. it shorted out. its not a hard job to do either.

I know this thread is years old, but I have the same problem as the OP. Does anyone know which electrical component needs to be replaced when the radio, heater, and fog lights don't get power?
thanks!

yup, gotta love these forums man. Fuse 5 was checked, as well as every other damn fuse in the driver side box - I get up this morning, really needed to fix this radio , climate control etc. Pulled the #5 Fuse and there it was, the black spot on the plastic! Thanks, much love from the future to the past.
