Hi, I do not have an FM2 button, so which 2 buttons would I push in order to be able to enter the code when I get it to get stereo out of safe mode?

What car and radio do you have?

They are all different.

Thank you for your help!! As soon as I get the code I will try...sadly the car did not come with the manual, it is not in the wheel well either and the dealer in Sacramento wants $160 to do it for me but a car audio place by my house said they will pull the radio for $20 and give me the AUZ number so I can call Audi and get the code. Thanks again!!

Or you can cut a wire hanger into 4 six inch pieces and pull the radio yourself (for free) and you may even find the code on the body of the radio. But you will find the serial number to the radio, and call audi

Did you look through all the sheets of your owners manual? Mine was attached to a perforated sheet

That's a good idea, I'll see if I can find a metal coat hanger and try it!

Its not a coat hanger, its a file hanger. Careful the clips holding the Symphony are fragile, its double DIN you need two sets (four of the tools) to pull the head unit.

$20 is a decent price, if it gets stuck you need to remove center console. Serious PITA, ask me how I know ? ;-(
